Monday Meet and Greet with the Teacher
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. We are excited to have a full building of eager students who are excited and ready to learn! We have been planning and preparing for their return and are equally excited to have them back in our school with us.
Teacher Meet and Greet
As a reminder, we will be hosting an open house style ‘Meet and Greet’ to welcome students and families back to school on Monday the 16th from 4:00-6:00. This open house event will be held inside our building and will provide a way for staff to connect with families and students. We are excited to meet our new students and families and welcome those who are returning. Please remember that this is an opportunity to also drop off your students’ school supplies, which will make for an easier first day for your child(ren). Please click HERE for a list of school supplies. If you have a chromebook from last year, please turn it in at this time as well.
If you need support with obtaining school supplies or other resources, our Comet Closet at Skyview has school supplies and backpacks, non-perishable food items, hygiene products and clothes for kids. If you are in need of help getting supplies for your student please contact the Skyview Office at 720-972-5620.
As a reminder, all adults must wear masks inside the building, regardless of vaccination status. We are also requesting that families limit the number of family members they bring to this event, so that social distancing may be accommodated as much as possible. Additionally, the Broomfield Department of Public Health issued a public health order today requiring children aged 2-11 wear masks indoors while in school and child care settings, and we understand that the governing board for Tri-County Public Health plans to consider a similar order at a meeting on Monday. This means that Adams 12 Five Star Schools will require all students in preschool through sixth grade to wear masks indoors.

Breakfast and Lunch
All students will be offered breakfast free of charge. We will have three stations located at various points around the north side of the building. If students would like to eat breakfast here at school, they must arrive by 7:45 in order to have time to eat and clean up prior to class beginning at 8:05 am.
When picking up breakfast, students will be required to take all the items offered that day. Please review each morning’s menu options to help your student decide whether or not to have a school breakfast and/or lunch that day.
A hot lunch will also be provided at no cost for any student. Students will also be able to purchase a limited number of snacks or purchase additional entree items. As in a traditional school year, students are not allowed to share food. This guideline is even more important during this time of heightened health and safety protocols.
We look forward to beginning this new school year together. See you all next week!
