Field/Playground Reserved for BASE 3:00-4:00
We 💙 seeing so many of you enjoying the playground and field after school! However, we need to clear these outdoor spaces by 3:00 for the BASE program.
Our BASE program has the playground and field reserved from 3:00-4:00 each day. With so many families playing outside during this time, it is difficult for the BASE staff to safely supervise the students in the program.
Thanks for your support!
🌼 Día de los Muertos Ofrenda
Join us in remembering our loved ones who have passed by contributing to the Skyview Día de los Muertos Ofrenda. Julia Torres, our new family liaison, is organizing the ofrenda, and it will be ready for your family’s pictures and mementos at conferences. Read more about this special tradition here.
📵Cell phones, Smartwatches, and Personal Device Policy Reminder
Adams 12 policy prohibits students from having cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, or other personal electronic devices out during the school day. Please keep these devices at home or turned off in backpacks. Students using these devices will be directed to turn them off and put them away. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining high-focus classrooms.
🌞 SHINE Conversation Starters
The SHINE habit for October in Inclusion. Ask your child how to make their circle bigger. This prompt relates to our whole school assembly. We acted out a small circle of friends getting bigger by inviting someone new in or someone outside of the circle asking to play.
How can you make sure others feel welcome in your friend group?
What does it sound like to invite someone in?
How might you ask to join a group of friends?
