2024 Bond Program, Investing in Student Success

Skyview Elementary Bond Projects

Skyview Elementary will see a wide range of improvements through the 2024 bond, with between $3.2 million to $3.8 million in bond-funded improvements.

Inside the school, learning environments will be enhanced through refreshed furnishings and finishes. Modular partitions in several classrooms will also be replaced with permanent classroom walls, which will decrease classroom noise throughout the building.

Building systems will be strengthened with upgraded heating and cooling, sewer repairs, plumbing improvements and new lighting. Safety investments include new fire alarms, classroom door locks, intercom systems and exterior door sensors, along with better cell coverage. Other technology upgrades include faster Wi-Fi and network cabling.

Outside the school building, students will benefit from a new playground. In all, these renovations and investments will help Skyview offer safer, more modern facilities that support student learning and community connection.

These investments vary from paving and resurfacing projects to major interior and exterior overhauls to update school furnishings and finishes.

All schools are also receiving comprehensive IT upgrades through the 2024 bond. These upgrades will support faster network connections and support advanced classroom tools.
