I am a Colorado native and attended grades K-12 in the Adams 12 school district. I am a graduate of Fort Lewis College in beautiful Durango, CO with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. After college I moved home to teach in Adams 12 and attended the University of Colorado Boulder where I earned a Master of Arts in Education degree with an emphasis on Literacy. I also hold a Reading Teacher Endorsement an am qualified to be a reading interventionist. Literacy and reading are my passion! In 2015 I completed an Educational Leadership program at DU with with Ritchie Program, and have receieved an administration license.
I live in Thornton with my husband Ben, our two children, and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks named Memphis and Lily. ! I enjoy working on projects around the house and playing or watching sports! I played collegiate level softball at Fort Lewis on a scholarship and now work as a private pitching instructor for girls in the metro area. I am also a huge fan of the Denver Broncos! I have season tickets that I share with my family.
